How Does
It Work?
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All governmental guidelines are strictly followed with regard to COVID restrictions. All surfaces are disinfected and all staff wear masks at all times. Stanchions are used to maintain social distancing and all guests are individually serviced by a candy crew member. We graciously request all guests to wear masks at every event to ensure the safety of everyone.

From Friends To Founders
We met at just 20 years old, both working in nursing homes and learning what it meant to really care for others. Danielle, with a background in social work and criminal justice, quickly found her calling in leading senior living communities, while Tara, a certified PMP, specialized in marketing and operations, helping connect facilities to the communities they served. Over 15 years, we grew from entry-level roles to executive positions, building meaningful careers that always focused on compassion, connection, and impact.Today, with over 3,500 completed celebrations, our commitment to creating unforgettable experiences remains unwavering. What started with one candy truck has grown into a full fleet of signature candy and snack trucks, a boutique Gift Shoppe in the heart of Park Ridge, NJ, and a rapidly expanding franchise program that is taking our sweet vision nationwide.
The Shift:
Embracing A New Chapter
When the pandemic hit, we were still working full-time in healthcare, running Curbside Confections on nights and weekends, focusing on events with 100 or more guests. With large gatherings paused, we reimagined our business, offering candy deliveries, joining drive-by parades, and launching an online store. Taking a leap of faith, we left our healthcare careers, expanded our fleet, and fully dedicated ourselves to growing Curbside Confections and committing to our vision. Leaving our healthcare careers—where we had been so passionate about supporting individuals and families during some of their toughest transitions—was a significant decision. But it also reframed our purpose: we were now able to bring joy to people during their happiest milestones and celebrations. From helping families through difficult times, we transitioned to celebrating life’s sweetest moments, and it’s a journey we’re grateful for every day.
